Dear Colleagues

It is our pleasure to welcome you in the 10th Congress of the African Middle East Association of Gastroenterology (AMAGE) Liver and Gastrointestinal Diseases (EASLGD)/JSGH 2024 Congress that will be held joint with the 22nd Conference of the Egyptian association for the Study of Liver and Gastrointestinal Diseases (EASLGD) and the 26th Conference of the Jordanian Society of Gastroenterology and Hepatology (JSGH) in collaboration with the Egyptian Society of Fatty liver Disease (ESFLD) in Cairo from 30th-31st October. The Congress will be held under the slogan ‘Raising the bar in gastroenterology and Hepatology practice in Africa and the Middle East. The congress will discuss in the scientific program the updates in Gastroenterology and Hepatology practice in Africa and The Middle East with updates in the technology and the techniques in Endoscopy and Radiology interventions.

The program will address and highlight how to translate new basic science into clinical practice, the emerging threat of the impact of climate change on the liver and the gut health and how to transform to sustainable practice in our speciality in our region. The learning centre of the Congress will be a good chance for hands on training on Endoscopy, EUS and US procedures. The vibrant pharmaceutical exhibition in the venue will present the most recent therapeutics. The venue of the Congress will be at the Grand Nile Towers Hotel on the banks of the great Nile River with an outstanding view at the center of historical Cairo nearby to all great attractions where the Congress participants can enjoy the social program of the Congress while enjoying the very fine Autumn weather of Cairo.
